A mid 18th Century mahogany serpentine serving table, attributed to Henry Hill of Marlborough POA

A superb Chippendale period mahogany serving table, attributed to Henry Hill of Marlborough (active 1740-1778). The piece retains an excellent colour and patina, the serpentine top with shaped sides being enhanced by flame mahogany geometric parquetry within a banded edge. The central bow fronted drawer has angled fretwork brackets beneath, the whole supported by tapered fluted legs. Lead lined ice drawer and cellaret. Original stamped brass handles.
